Burning a CD

Nov 21, 2006 4:35AM PST

I created a list of 30 songs (64 min.) and burned a CD using Del Jukebox by Musicmatch Jukebox Plus. I Have a Dell Dimension 4700 with an internal CD R/W drive. The first attempt was on a Staples CD-R. Starting with the 5th song the playback started to sound scratchy. Thinking it might be the CD, I burned the same list on a HP CD-R disk. This time the playback was fine untill the 27th song and then the scratchy sounds were introduced for the balance of the recordings. The songs sound just fine when I play then on the computer. Both CDs look fine and don't have any scratches on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
