Burner won't read what it writes!

Apr 18, 2005 5:36AM PDT

I have a plextor PX-708A DVD+-RW drive. I can burn anything on any type of blank disc. However, the drive will not read the discs it created. It will read standard CDs, and CD-Rs it makes, but DVD+Rs, DVD+RWs, and CD-RWs cannot be read. The discs are created fine, because they can be read elsewhere. I have the latest firmware. I'm thinking the drive needs to be cleaned, but if that's the case, why can it write OK?
