For best effect, make a post a rant or a discussion about a problem you want to solve.

Bundled software is avoided by getting a full retail version of the OS and you learning how to install it. If you bought some Comp'in'a'box, then nothing has changed and you uninstall what you don't like.

The "switch" will not let you escape bundling since Apple will put iTunes and more on their machine too.

Maybe you'll like some flavor of Linux?

well R.,
i do already run mandrake (a friend of mine partitioned it for me)as for the term i used "bundled'=what i mean is that a software dl from ms went to some unknown place to 'hide'-attached to some other program and we had a devil of a time getting it gone, that's all <:+)

You'll have to be more specific.

I've run Windows NT 4.0 and 3.5 and now 2000 for the main office machines for too many years.

I could help, but your posts don't seem to point to any problem to be solved.

Was there an issue to be solved or was this a rant post?
