bulb hours

I can't believe that no one out there knows how to access the service menu on a Sony KF42WE610 Please help.

Sony old way.

sony old way leaked out so they changed the button code on all the rear projections.

you can try the old way, but I dont think it will work.

turn TV off.
push Display
then push 5
then push Volume Up or channel UP not sure one of them
then Power

all with the remote, good luck.

it would be really fun to give you all kinds of made up codes, so you could try all kinds of things, just kidding it a real code, but I dont think it works on that model if does let me know I can give you directions on how to use the service menu.

That worked. I got to the service menu. Now I need to get to the part of the menu that shows the bulb hours. Any ideas on how to get there?
