Built-in home speaker controls

Hello - trying to sort out a system for the built-in ceiling speakers in a new place I have moved into.

1. All speakers on one level - 2 in living room and 1 in office (about 50ft apart)
2. One connector wall panel in living room
3. One wall mounted volume control knob in office

Hoping to get your thoughts on best setup for amp/receiver. Would like to able to also connect TV, external audio, and a set of stand up tower speakers to the receiver. Airplay would also be nice although not a necessity.

Please see pics below and I appreciate any suggestions, as well as some associated costs if possible. Thank you for your help!

Just to be clear- did you mean to add more photos? The white DSC devices you have linked to are actually room motion sensors.

There should also be wires elsewhere, in a closet or cabinet perhaps.
