"Note1: AMD Ryzen 1xxx series CPUs are able to boot up with all BIOS versions. As to AMD Ryzen 2xxx series CPUs, please update the BIOS to the same as list or later version."
This tells me a board with an old BIOS may not boot.
Built a new computer and its not working. In particular, it won't display anything. It powers on, light on, components are working however, like I said: no display. When it did power on the first time, it gave me five short beeps from the motherboard. (I think five, it happened so fast). I powered it on a couple of times after that and it didnt do it again. From what I understand the codes are a little different from motherboard to motherboard and according to this one it means there is something wrong with the cpu. I took it out and thoroughly examined it and I see absolutely nothing wrong with it physically. So I'm wonder if its a compatibility issue or a faulty CPU (and I know thats extremely rare), I'm not sure what to hope for but I know its not very clear cut and I'm hoping for some input by a community. I would call technical support but its a weekend.
