Question

Building a VR ready computer for a begginer

Aug 12, 2016 7:44AM PDT

Hello there

I am finally ready to build my own computer and I want it to have the capabilities to run Vr fairly well. I have never built a computer before and thus have no idea if getting the new Titan X Pascal is worth it or GTX 1080/1070 instead. That was just an example and thus I would really appreciate some help in getting a good VR computer going. As VR itself is 700+ already I would like to save where possible though I understand the PC needs to be at a certain level.

Thank you for your help

I'd start with gaming PCs.

Answer
Depends on budget

On paper start with a high end I5 and a rx 480.

Fill in the rest of the parts and see what the total is.

If the budget allows bump the 480 to a gtx 1060/70/80.
