Question

Building a new system - everything look good?

Apr 14, 2014 7:02AM PDT

Feel free to comment on any incompatibility flags you see or a poor choice for something in general. This build is intended to be mmorpg/other graphics intensive games friendly so any improvements on these choices (particularly ones which lower the build cost!) are welcome =)

Case:

Motherboard:

Processor:

Power supply:

Memory (2x4GB):

Hard drive:

Also planned as part of the setup:
Nvidia GeForce 9500GT graphics card, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, 47" (TV) monitor, dvi-->hdmi cable to connect graphics card and monitor.

I know the graphics card stands to be improved. That's the one he has installed in his computer now and wants to avoid spending more on a graphics card if that will be sufficient when combined with the graphics power from the processor. Is this graphics card compatible with the motherboard?

Thanks in advance for tips and advice!

I don't think you can crossfire/combine the 5800k with the 9500gt....apples and oranges.

It might be a better fit to use the 5800k igp and a 2x4GB@1866 ram kit.
