A dual rail means the builder must be very conversant with Amperes that will be on one of the two rails. Today, for folk that are stumped we always get the single rail power supplies.
Hi all, I'm building myself a new computer as I've really been struggling with mine as of late.
So far the parts list I've compiled is:
Motherboard: MSI H77MA-G43 Intel H77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro-ATX (£74.9
Processor: Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 - Retail (£87.59)
Graphics Card: Gainward GeForce GT640 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express (£83.99)
RAM: Adata XPG Gaming v1.0 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (AX3U1600GC4G9-2G) (£37.99)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) (£59.99)
PSU: OcUK Crusade 650W Dual-Rail High Efficiency '80 Plus' Power Supply (£49.99)
Case: Aerocool Qs-202 Midi Tower Case - Black (£39.9
Priced at £448.61 on OverClockers (Inc. VAT and delivery)
Not particularly sure on any of the parts, would happily change any of them if there are better ones available for similar prices. Would also happily spend up to about £550-600 and so if people know of any other bits and bobs to put in/take out it would be very helpful.
Also if I've missed anything out
Case and PSU especially I was really stumped by, as I have no idea what I'm looking at when it comes to this.
Any help at all would be much appreciated, cheers
