Buget cam for Web work

Need to get a cam that is ideal for web applications..looking for best price. Applications include interviews and on-the-road programming segments. Need to support MAC/Windows editing apps. Would need remote mike capabilities. HD definitely not required but do need to ensure best quality for web. Let me know what you smarties think?? Thanks much.
