$600 for an AMD Athlon 64 (not sempron) computer with only keyboard and mouse and no video card or speakers.

Plus you will also need:
17'' monitor
Decent gaming video card
Speaker system

More like $1000
Gaming requirement is a budget killer
I failed Sad
Maybe someone else will be successful.

Are you willing to put a new gpu and more ram??

In reply to: BUDGET PC FOR GAMING help ASAP!!!!!

You can do this. Buy a cheapo computer (hp a1100y), add more RAM memory, and a new graphics card. These are both cheap and easy upgraded. DO NOT GET THEM FROM HP. They will rip you off. Right now (demember 15), they will give you 512 MB of RAM, instead of 256. Get the monitor and graphics card from a website like newegg.com. As long as you're okay with installing the parts yourself. If you're not, then get a pc from alienware or somewhere else. You will spend a lot more.
