That's not Windows.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9618826&SRCCODE=cnet shows the usual Windows laptop. My wife has a similar powered laptop and it's fine. Not a speedy thing but not that slow either.
Unfortunately my current laptop has just died and is not worth the cost to repair. I'm in desperate need of a laptop ASAP which will last me until I finish my masters at college in December. After which I will look for a job and then probably purchase a high end laptop.
My main uses for laptop are using word documents, watching live TV, streaming YouTube, downloading torrents, netflix and general surfing. I'd like it to be somewhat portable too.
My budget is £300 max however the lower the better. I would like the laptop to last as id pass it onto my mom.
These are some of the laptops I've been looking at:
- Toshiba chrome book 2 £250
- Asus X551MAV-BING-SX1017B £200
What do you think of those options and are there any others worth considering in my budget?
