Btw, as to God vs. Government:

by drpruner / October 13, 2004 4:58 AM PDT

US Gov't is an organization with rules; so is RC or any other mainstream church. Sometimes those rules conflict, so the conflicts are worked out by various means.

I get the impression that some who post threads under this general heading aren't thinking this way. In other words, People vs. Perp or Smith vs. Jones shouldn't change just because God or Religion brought into it. I'm aware that religion has a high emotional content, but so do many People or Smith cases.

Another impression I get is that the seriously religious posters don't have enough faith in their God. It's said by some that I belong to a Christian "cult," yet I'm content with the implications of Acts 2:17-40 to the point that I don't spend time flaming or picketing the Gov't or churches.

Regards, Doug in New Mexico (where the flags are currently half-masted, per Governor's order, for a deceased Sikh leader)

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
