BT Broadband problem...

Jan 17, 2009 9:38PM PST

My broadband is trying to connect to the internet like it should if I were using a dial up connection... only problem is that I'm not. What do I need to do to get it to connect like it should through broadband? I'm using an ethernet cable to connect.

There's PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) that requires you to put in a userid and a password, just like you had to do with dial-up. Sp for the moment nothing needs to be wrong.

Please tell much more so we can see what is wrong exactly.
