Where did you get the Windows 10 installation USB/disk/ISO? And how did you make it?
Have you tried running the machine with ALL USB devices unplugged?
Have you made sure the motherboard chipset driver and BIOS are updated to the newest version?
Next, It seems as though the Windows 10 "upgrade/installation" process may not install all the files correctly, or maybe they're damaged, or maybe something else, but running Chkdsk has fixed quite a few of these minor glitches. Try running Chkdsk in "repair" mode to find any damaged files and correct them. Start by opening a command prompt as an admin. RIGHT click on the Start button, choose "Command Prompt (Admin). (Or type "Command" in the search line, then RIGHT click on the "Command Prompt" listing at the top, choose "Run as admin".) Once there, type chkdsk /f /r /x, leaving the appropriate spaces between the letters as shown, then press the Enter key. You should see a note that it can't be run till a restart is done, type "Y" for yes, then press the Enter key again. Close the command prompt and restart the computer. Chkdsk will run upon restart and will take quite a while to finish.. Don't panic when the progress bar stays at 10% for a long time. It's fairly normal and the Chkdsk process may take a couple of hours.
When it's finished, it will boot to your normal startup/lock screen and you can login normally and then see if things are working correctly again.
Hope this helps.
I'm going to try and explain this in as much detail as possible. I've had this problem for 2 weeks, took it to various repair shops who have no idea what they're doing. Guys, I really, REALLY need your help!
I had an old PC. I upgraded the graphics card in it, and i was getting some stutter and frame drops (the rest of the hardware was very old) so i decided to buy a brand new build (but keep my new graphics card).
I purchased a new case, a GA-B250m-DS3H motherboard, a I5 6500 CPU, a GTX 1050Ti, an Evga 550W psu, hyperx fury 2x4gb ram, and a 60gb SSD. I kept my OLD hard drive which was in my old PC.
I built it all, and at first it was working wonderfully. At this point it was on windows 8.1. After the first hour, I blue screened. The blue screen was KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I realised my drivers may need updating so I updated all my drivers and that seemed to get rid of the KMODE blue screen.
Then more problems occurred. I couldn't open many programmes, for example Discord, after upgrading my PC will NOT open no matter what I do, i've been through every forum, it just opens, then crashes immediately. Some games won't install, I just get error messages that they failed to install, and if they do, I can't open them anyway.
I decided to clean reinstall windows, and make it windows 10 instead of 8.1. So I booted to a usb, cleaned, formatted and wiped all of my drives, and clean installed windows 10 to my brand new SSD.
I then first downloaded discord and it STILL wouldn't open. Tried installing games, wouldn't work. I redownloaded all my drivers and still nothing works, I then get FREQUENT blue screens that read "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and all of these blue screens are down to "ntoskrnl.exe" - I have researched this and honestly tried everything but it just seems like it's not going to work even after a clean reinstall of windows. Now i'm getting these blue screens every couple of hours, also, google chrome CONSTANTLY crashes, i can't even use it properly.
The other thing is, when I install ram, i get 3 beeps and my computer restarts itself, then it boots normally. No matter what RAM i try, i get 3 beeps, and then sometimes, it boots up perfectly with no beeps. I do not suspect the motherboard or slots are faulty, as they are brand new, as is the RAM. Like I said sometimes I don't get the 3 beeps, but I experience it frequently when turning on my pc for the first time of the day.
I've checked all wires, no wires are loose, I've clean reinstalled windows (tried it on my SSD and my HDD), my temperatures are fine, my ram speed and timings are fine, all my drivers are up to date. I am honestly stuck on what to do.
Please bare in mind - i have NONE of these problems in safe mode at all, discord opens and works perfectly, google chrome doesn't crash, i have none of these problems what so ever in safe mode. But when I boot in normal mode, i get all of these issues and the computer is pretty much unusable. That's why I believe i don't have a hardware issue, i've ran memtest which came back clear, i've checked my hard drive with seatools which passed, and everything is brand new. Someone told me they think it might be a corrupt windows installation or corrupt drivers? But i don't know how to fix this or narrow it down! I am begging someone to help me through this as i've had the problem for like 2 weeks now. I've posted the dumps with the IRQL error and the KMODE error due to NTOSKRNL. I wonder if my computer needs rebuilding from scratch, whether by hard drive is corrupt and needs replacing, all my parts are compatible and brand new so I have no idea what is going on.
here are the links to my dump files, there were more before i reinstalled windows however these are the main ones i get : https://1drv.ms/u/s!Apx0y6zEfUwDiWX3iUiwzEM0KXuf https://1drv.ms/u/s!Apx0y6zEfUwDiWbrdfbAyOGUqmnt
