So all this time I had my 'old' hard drive connected aswell. I disconnected that and rebooted, now it doesn't seem to have a BSOD anymore.
BUT I really need those files on that hard drive. And quite frankly I just need that hard drive itself aswell. What can I do? Its just an internal hard drive. I'm thinking there might be drivers or on the hard drive (even though there is no Windows on it) that mess with the new components.
What to do? Really need that hard drive.
Hi everyone,
I've got Blue screen problems.
I just upgraded all my PC parts beside from the power supply. New specs:
Asus Z370-P motherboard
32GB of HyperX 3200mhz RAM (4 x 8gb sticks)
i7 8700K
BeQuiet cooler on the cpu
MSI GTX 1070 8GB
500GB SSD with a CLEAN version of windows 10
I tried booting with my old SSD that had windows on it. Booted, after 10 seconds of being on the desktop of windows, blue screen.
Installed new windows via a USB stick on the new SSD, same problem. 10 seconds after loading into windows: BSOD.
Tried booting without the gtx 1070. Still same problem.
I quickly got into the configuration screen in windows before bluescreening and I did see that thhe 32GB RAM and the processor were recognized just fine.
BIOS just loads fine and temperatures of the CPU and GPU look good aswell.
What can I do...?
Thanks for any help.
