Browser Search Bar

I have IE. One day, a search bar that includes hot buttons for various items (they change depending upon what I am browsing. For example, if I am on a sports page, the buttons change for sports related items). I right click on the bar and find it to be called "uooaayshstp". I un-check it and it goes away. When I browse to a new page, the bar pops back up. I cannot find how to make the bar go away for good. I have a pop-up blocker and also have run SpyCleaner, a program that removes a lot of this type of stuff. Any ideas?

I note the Anti-Parasite Suite at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&start=0 which seems to clean out most of these.
