That's a sign of popups or SPYWARE.

I'd start considering:

1. Running EWIDO from download.com
2. Switching to a better browser.

While your post is a little vague on what games (Freecell, Solitaire that comes with the OS), you may want to look up IEFIX on google.com and see if that clears up browser issues.

my browser will take me to the online game sites but when i push the tab to play a certain game it tells me that there is an error on the page. this includes all game sites on the net.

Too unspecific.

Without an example to work with, I'm stumped.

Try supplying one example so I can tell if it's flash or java based games you have an issue with.

How did IEFIX go?

it is the java i am having a problem with the applets on the game site do not come on, it tells me that there is an error on the page and its blank... and when i read my e-mail if there is a site i should just be able to click into again it gives me an empty page and its much smaller. thanks for trying to help me......

For IE, go to...

Tools --> Internet Options --> Security Tab --> Custom Level Button --> Scroll down to Scripting --> Disable "Active Scripting"

Java won't like it. But, oh well... Wink

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
