Broken volume button on generic MP3 player

by Smooth-Camel / April 5, 2005 9:55 PM PDT

Bought a cheap MP3 player off ebay, 512 mb. The volume up button kinda screwed up, then in my infinite wisdom, screwed it up some more, so i can turn volume down, but not up. It's past it's warranty so I won't be able to repair it soon. I don't really care as long as i can SOMEHOW get the volume back up. Is there a way i can do it, like creating a config file inside of the player from the computer, or any other way anyone can think of. Thanks for your help. I tried resetting it to default, by formatting it, but it still goes back to the volume i had it at before. I want it to be on max. Here is a picture of it and the box it came in.(it doesnt have a brand)
