The FAQ says type ":^O" as in colon, down bracket, capital O.

I know the FAQ says to [type] but my keyboard doesn't have the down bracket. When I copy and paste the ":^0" from your post with the zero it worked. My keyboard also does not have the vertical line, but I can successfully copy and paste the Favacons with the vertical line.

I can successfully copy and paste all of the favacons from the FAQ except Laugh and Shocked ":O". However, when I type ":0" as in colon, zero the Shock Favacon works.

It seems the list of favacons shown in the FAQ is indicating cap O's for zero's.

Thanks,

Charlie

I must have been doing "Alt" 6.

Shift 0094 works with the number key pad.

Thanks,

is the old DOS "pipe" key which is generally on the same key as the backslash \ . It shows like a broken vertical line but displays just fine using "shift \" on mine....like this |
