Broadband VS At&t PC Card

Apr 19, 2009 12:58AM PDT

I use an ISP out here in the boonies near Medford Oregon. About half the time, my bandwidth(upload, download speeds)are ridiculously low i.e. .47 mbps for download(I don't worry too much about upload but it's at .08, LOL!!)

My question is, what does anyone know about this AT&T Pc Card? I have At&t cellphone with maximum reception out here. No dropped calls and all bars 24/7, seriously excellent. So I called them to see about whether or not they might help me with my internet. Thus, my questions to you about the pc card?

Thank you in advance, denise

That's a waste of my time and yours not letting me know what exactly you need. From my end it is a simple question for anyone that knows about PC Cards(At&t).

plugs into your PCMCIA slot on the laptop. It uses the 3G network. Call AT&T and ask them about speeds.

And can't find what the questions will be about this card. I will state the speed is ASYMMETRIC and this may confuse the casual or new to broadband user but it's exactly what they intended.
