broadband speed

i have wow ip at 2 mb's they increaced to 4mbs's but i did not recieve it .had tech come out to check connections everything fine, still no 4 mb's.he then set his laptop up to my modem ran a speed test and had 4mb's on his laptop, said that there is a problem with my pc any idea's thanks tom tcjtdoyle@hotmail.com

I can guess that the Forum Tip isn't showing for you today, but here it is so you can begin to fill in the blanks -> Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.

turn off modem and puter, then turn on modem when all lights solid turn computer back on?

if that dont work is it yours or there modem if so switch it out as i doubt its your pc.
unless nik cards bad but try modem 1st

If Win98 your receive window might be too small. There are tweaks for this.
