Broadband conversion.

Mar 10, 2005 10:57AM PST

a friend living in Eastern Europe, in the Republic of Moldova has an offer to switch from her DUN to Broadband.

I suspect this is a limited broadband in that she has been allocated 1500MB of usage per month.

Although this is available 24/7 she is not sure how many hours she will be entitled to based on that allocation.

Is there some sort of conversion factor that will convert 1500MB into hours?

I would also apprectiate knowing if file size will have some bearing on this and what potential d/l and u/l speeds might be.

I suspect it has to be better that DUN but not sure by how much.

thank you.

There really is no formula. It all depends on how much is used. 1500MB a month should be enough for just surfing the internet.
