It will make life much easier for you. If you have a router, just get some ethernet cable to run to the PS2, or you could buy a cheap router that does WDS, and turn it into a poor man's wireless ethernet bridge device. Linksys's WRT line, running one of the many custom firmwares out there would fit the bill nicely.
I have a wireless laptop and I bridge connections with a LAN cord to give my Playstation 2 online access. If I turn the ps2 off, or the computer off, the internet goes dead. So I just create a new bridge. But each time I create one, it is given a number......example: bridge 1, bridge 2, bridge 3......etc. And im on # 20 now. Is it a problem if I keep creating and deleting bridges? will there be a limit....or will the number start back at 1 at some point? Im just worried if Imma cause trouble or not. Thanx
