I see the confusion. Way back when, each part was a part. Today we get many parts of the system in each box.
In your case, you need only the WAP.

I have a new audio receiver that is able to connect to internet radio. I have a wireless network with a Belkin pre-n router and want to add this component to my network to access the internet radio. After reading several product descriptions, I am still confused. Would I need an access point or a bridge to connect it? I can't tell the difference in the descriptions I have read. Would either one work? I purchased a bridge, but it didn't seem to work when I was going through the receiver set up.
