No question as to why he thought it necessary to mention that the newspaper is owned by a Jewish family?

I wondered the importance of pointing that out myself, unless it could be that he was just pointing out that it's not islamic. My link's from South Africa and confirms his breaking news story though.

*i assumed he used that as a 'backup' as insurance to show the integrity and honesty of his post*

of course, he 'could' have mentioned that 4 of the 6 largest papers in se are owned by the same family....

Didn't you notice, Josh...

Josh, didn't you notice the words "American F16 are bombing Fallujah"?
Clay's linked to story said, "Fallujah - US F-15 jet fighters flew a number of sorties over the flashpoint Iraqi city of Fallujah early on Tuesday evening, firing cannons at unidentified targets, a correspondent on the scene said.". Seems to me that cannon fire may have turned into bombs.
Rememember when firing rockets into a wall turned into bombing a mosque? "Bombing" paints a sought after mental picture.

But J, for some, the truth just won't do. Tokyo Rose propoganda, you know.

Comical in one way, pitiful in another. And all while being sustained and tolerated by our American milk, bread, freedoms, and strength.

Charlie, of what possible interest is the religion of the newspaper owners? Does that make the information any more or less reliable?

Not to me but...

to many others. There are many people in this forum who refuse to believe Muslim sources when it comes to the Middle East. Since Sweden has a rather big Muslim population, it would be very likely that some of the members would accuse the newspaper for being pro-Arab and the reporters for being Shiite. The same would happen if I quoted a French newspaper...

The same thing goes for the fact that it comes from a Swedish newspaper. Sweden has been called anti-Semitic by some of the members and in order to avoid such accusations of the source I felt it was necessary to point out that in fact the newspaper belongs to Sweden's biggest publisher which is Jewish. When those hateful and accusing posts are being stopped here, it will probably not be necessary to point it out any longer. But that is up to you among others Dave...

The post from David Evans has been posted before. Not the exact post, but the last sentence and it was removed back then precisely due to the last sentence. Now he repeats a removed post. Didn't you asy something about being banned for those things?
