Brand New Cellular Phone-Lost Packaging on Shipment

Currently working at United States Postal Service some how the packaging materials separted from the Iphone itself lost what can be done to get the shippers information and the receipant information. All I have is the IPhone itself. Any Ideas.

Bring it to an Apple shop. They can find out, using the serial number.

It would be considered a federal crime if the person walked out of the post office with something that does not belonging to them. so they cannot take it to the apple store. Post office has their own rules and most like if it is a new phone, a trace will be put on it.

the post office has their own rules on returning items when packaging is lost or damage. You need to abide by them.
