Sounds quite dangerous!

Noting the "deteriorating sub-stations", the head honcho hasn't been doing a proper job.

Years ago we purchased a solar water heating system through our electric utility, and sponsored by TVA. To make a long story short, we were forced to get rid of it because there was no longer a company available to service it, and the equipment constantly went bad.(we continued to make the payments.) The electric company said it was our problem.

So our attorney filed a suit in Chancery Court. The company then asked for a meeting. Their attorney arrogantly said that they had enough money to fight us for years. Our attorney answered that was true. However, we could publicize our problem, and folks all over the city and state would be coming forward who had the same problems with their units.

With that, they agreed to cancel the rest of our payments. We paid to have it removed ourselves.

NStar sounds arrogant. I reckon none of their PTB or their animals have been shocked.

Let us know how it all turns out, George!

Hi Angeline

Yes, This electrical problem here in Boston is getting pretty serious. I hope it can be resolved and fixed before summer. If it does that to Dogs, come summer I can just imagine what may happen when the little children start running around barefoot like they do in Chinatown and Southy.

Sometimes going public such as you did and the dog owners here, gets results.

That is weird, but it can get worse. Exploding Manhole Covers.
Mar 9, 2004 7:49PM PST

Down in Washington DC, during the height of fear over possible terrorist activities, people were dodging exploding manhole covers. It's happened in Baltimore, Georgetown, New York City, Liverpool England, and probably other places. Can you imagine some poor owner walking his dog, the dog steps on a manhole cover, gets a shock setting off a spark, there is a massive explosion and the dog is riding the manhole cover 50 feet upwards, only to have the cover come down and maim or kill his owner. Where are the Ninja Turtles when we need them?

Here's a uniquely British take on it all.
