Question

Bose Wave to LG TV

by lavenderheart / December 4, 2017 5:04 PM PST

I just replaced a soundbar with a Bose Wave for my LG 55LB5550. I have the red & white plugs in the back of the tv and the 3mm jack in the back of the Bose. I have the tv internal speakers turned off and aux mode on the Bose, but I'm not getting any sound.

I'm on page 16 of the English manual where the RCA jacks are but those are inputs to the TV so did I find the wrong TV?

I see this model might have Optical output, does the Bose Wave have a matching Optical input?

That's the right tv. The Bose doesn't have an optical input. That's why I'm using the red/white plugs with the 3mm jack on the other end.

Since the TV RCA jacks are inputs.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
