I didn't see it in the specification. I am thinking maybe that mic is for the noise canceling circuit ( I could be wrong).
Hello! I've been searching for about two days for answers to this question and have lost all hope.. Can someone please shed some light in my direction?
I've owned a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 15's for about two years now. I absolutely love them, super comfortable, great sound etc. I want to use them as a headset with its built in mic on my PC, but can't get the mic to work (headphones work great) I'm using a 3.5mm PC adapter to split the headphones and mic into the green and pink jacks.
In the control panel under sounds, it recognizes both the headphones and the mic, but the only noises I'm able to record are internal mic sounds of buttons of the headset being clicked.. nothing else. I've read somewhere that it would work by uninstalling Realtek audio drivers. I went and did that but nothing changed.
Doe's anybody else have any other suggestions before I just say F**k it and by a normal desktop mic?
