BOSE L/S35 and Sony KDF50WE655

I'm thinking of purchasing the Sony TV KDF50WE655. I have a couple of questions concerning this TV.
1. Will the Sony 50WE655 and my BOSE L/S 35 work well together or is there maybe another unit that I should consider?
2. Is the CableCard the only other way to connect to receive a HD signal from my cable company? I understand that by using the cablecard I will not have interactive capabilities.
