Type BAD CAPS into google.com then check your board for such. Keep in mind that Windows 2000 was considered a "Proffessional" OS with you learning how to recover from such with the command line tools, or even wipe out and reinstall from scratch (Microsoft's view.)
There are few "click here" repair tools for this issue and given it's Windows 2000 the hardware is aging so I'll look there first.
You seem to have ignored the forum note so I'll copy it here for you to consider telling more.
Note: If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.
I am using a windows 2000 proffessional and since two days I am getting a problem while booting. Most of the time it boots only half and stops. That is it will continue to run only if the drive lights of A(floppy) and e(cd rom)drive comes on.And if these drive lights does not show up the booting remains there itself and I have switch of and on the computer several times.Once it boots completely then the system runs normally and even in most cases after booting and running I had tried to restart and it does normally. Please help me.
