Reading through forums, I quickly discovered the answer.
1. Put your XP disk in your drive and boot from it.
2. After it loads, press <R> to get the Recovery Console.
3. Type "fixmbr" in the console after you login.
It's done!
Thanx Anyways,
Simon
I HAD a dual-boot with CentOS (RHEL 4) and Windows XP Pro on my 20g hard-drive. CentOS stopped functioning properly so I used Partition Magic 8 in XP to delete the partition and add the free space to Windows. Everything was fine for a few days of normal use; But now, when I reboot, I get the letters "GRUB" typed over and over again non-stop, countiously.
I am pretty sure it's a problem PM8 caused, but I do not know how to fix this. I have my XP cd, so mabey there's a fix on there.
Thanx,
Simon
