booting through a usb flash drive

HI,

MY OS JUST CRASHED AND MY CD DRIVE IS NOT WORKING.

SO I NEED TO INSTALL WINDOWS FROM A USB DRIVE.

MY PC HAS THE FOLLOWING CONFIG.

P3 PROCESSOR
256 MB RAM
1.4 GHz

AM RUNNING WINDOWS XP

ANY HELP IS WELCOME

Probably won't work

It probably won't work, and you'll likely find it easier to just replace the CD drive. And while you're at the store, you can pick up a new keyboard. Your current one appears to have a broken caps lock.
