bootable cd drive for DELL Inspiron 8200

Hi,
I need to find a cd drive to put into my DELL Inspiron 8200 laptop that I will certainly work. I don't want to buy the one from DELL for $180 and don't want to spend anyway near that much on this. This is to reinstall windows XP because I am getting the same error when I try to boot with floppies. I tried to different XP disks from DELL.

Were not picky as to make or model CD/DVD drive. Today I look for a dvd writer since anything less is not much less money. Try this one?

I have not used the same model drive and there is always a 0.002% chance it won't work for you. To increase those odds you should go with what Dell sells you.

Me? I'm spending the 55 bucks.

I get that but I was wondering if some cd drives won't work with the bios.
