Boot from cd/dvd Dell Dimension 4400

Feb 19, 2012 2:28AM PST

Hello, I want to boot from a cd with my Dell Dimension 4400. I go to the BIOS, and than to the tab: Boot. But, I can't change the values. I can't change it with the + and - key, and I can't change with the F5 and F6 key. How can I change this. I am sorry for my bad English, I am Dutch.

The display of this and how to change such varies by bios.
On this machine I go to bios>boot.
Here I see 1st boot device.....2nd boot device....etc.
If I navigate to the 1st boot device and hit "enter" I get to make a selection.
If I navigate to the 2nd boot device and hit "enter" I get to make a selection.

So I could set this machine to 1st>optical.....2nd>Hd.
