Question

boot error

Mar 31, 2019 3:02PM PDT

I have an hp laptop with hardly any problems w10 pro.
Occasionally if my computer is idle for a while the power button turns red and the Boot device not found error appears with the blue screen. I shut down, restart and everything is fine
This has been happening very seldom but for quite a few years.my computer is old but in great shape otherwise
I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion that I could try. It does not happen when turning the computer on.
Thanks

A good work-around seems to be to not leave it idle, but hibernate it if you plan to do nothing for a while.
