Ahh, that's sad

I didn't realise he was quite as old as that.

I knew him only from 5-0,

not one of my favorite shows. He seemed to be phoning in his performances. However, the obit I read said there was much more to him; had the respect of his peers.
Some still know of his mom (she had a small part in the first 747 disaster flick), but his father was equally famous in their day.

I wonder if he had a chance....

....to see the new version of the show and what he thought of it. I watched a couple of episodes but didn't care much for it.
