Since you didn't say, I'll talk about OE.
Blocking doesn't cause any more attention. Replying, such as in the ''Remove me from your list'' statement, does. I have my OE set to delete messages from these type of senders. They come in and are immediately deleted. Click Messages, Block sender, and tell it where the message is to go. Done.
Don't let them know you're home.

Is it wise to ''block sender'' from unwanted e-mail, specifically drug and mortgage solicitations, or is there a better way to tackle this trash. I have heard that blocking only triggers more attention, and thus more junk, or is it spam? I can't believe there isn't some way to save me from this. I do not open any of these e-mails, but the volume seems to be steady.
Any help would be appreciated.
