BO and after he leaves the Oval Office

Nov 27, 2016 5:17AM PST

I had brought this up to Derek about a week ago because I believe BO's arrogance won't let him leave DC at all.

"After being impeached, Andrew Johnson was elected as a senator for Tennessee. John Quincy Adams went on to serve Massachusetts in the House of Representatives, and John Tyler served in the Confederate House of Representatives 16 years after leaving the White House."

Guess what? There is a petition circulating 'demanding' that BO run for Congress in 2018. http://govnews.us/id/16444526776

However, the only way he could would be if he moved permanently back to Illinois because DC has no reps in Congress and they just bought a house up the street from the WH.

Would he? I believe so, if for no other reason than his comments even overseas since Trump won about how if BO doesn't think Trump is acting on behalf of 'USA values', he would publicly oppose him. Obviously he doesn't have the same amount of class that GWB has had, and his entire agenda has always been to win at all costs. And he loves campaigning more than he loved being in the WH itself, and he was a very ineffective Senator; however, I believe the House is the first step towards then running for his old Senate seat again in 2020 in the hope of gaining the Senate back and become Senate leader to take over Harry Reid's position of pocketing any bills that the House passes. Power is everything to this POS, so Trump better hurry on getting his agenda in place.

Headline in YOUR link claims "urging"

deliberately to separate it from 'urging', because his ego alone will see it as a demand and he will 'heed that call'.......I noticed that you didn't dispute my 'speculation', so I'm going to assume that you agree with me.

"Speculate" all you want...UNTIL he does what you speculate...it's pure speculation.

Speculation is part of the reason the "social media" is being watched by Facebook and Google News and are fact checking and deleting news "stories". Perhaps CNET should also get involved in fact checking.

You can also 'assume" anything you want....doesn't "make it so".

You think Obama would "publicly oppose" TheRUMP?

He has to be in some political office to do that?

What is more public nowadays than social media....Ask TheRUMP?

TheRUMP is twittering from 2am til 6am weekdays and from 6am til 10am weekends. Eastern time zone

What better way for BO to oppose Trump and his agenda than to be in Congress first in the House in 2018 and then in the Senate, where everything counts more than people think, to take back his seat, perhaps become Senate leader or the minority leader there and repeat the Harry Reid stand of blocking everything the House passes? You have to admit that this guy is pretty freaking cunning and loves the power. I'll keep speculating....you keep 'fact checking' all you want. Fortunately, I live in a country where my freedom of speech is protected.....even speculation speech, although knowing it irritates you into a blithering slobbering mess is a plus.

Google News adds Fact Checking to top stories

In the world of social media and online aggregation, the one thing that is most rare is truth. Every day I come across stories and posts that stretch the truth or obliterate it completely. I believe it’s a big part of why the trust in media in general has plummeted to historic lows.

I know that when I come across a story or set of “facts” online, my first thought is to challenge it. As a career journalist, I want to check the source… and then question even what seems to be a credible source. The brilliance of the internet is that you can research just about anything you come across. The downside is you come across a lot of junk that sometimes makes it difficult to ferret out what is the truth.

What better way for BO to oppose Trump and his agenda than to be in Congress

In Congress? in Politics?

Oh, you mean "politically oppose" NOT "publicly oppose".

It's more fun sitting on the sidelines and sniping(pulling strings)...you know how that works.

Has the Tea Party come out of the closet yet?

you, unlike the most radical liberals of the 60-70's, didn't learn the hard lesson.....you don't win your argument burning and bombing and killing innocent people (has the OWS people reappeared lately or did they turn into BLM and other destructive forces we see today?)......you put on a suit and tie, become college professors, and politicians and you attempt to bring the country down from WITHIN instead. Ask BO....and all of his friends.

Obama won't leave DC

AND TheRUMP won't leave New York?

And YOU thought you voted for change?

More of the same....just different faces....

Obama still has 1 kid going to school, he can sit in DC and chill, draw his pension, do his speaking tours, and wait for the young one to finish school.

Melania won't leave New York because the kid needs to finish the school year...then in 6 months it will be swept under the carpet and something else is competing with the Kardashians of the White House (Trump) for headlines...

RE:Power is everything to this POS, so Trump better hurry on getting his agenda in place.

You actually believe that Trump doesn't worship "power"?

Are you a teenager/naive?

More idiotic babble, JP....

Make a point or sit down for a while. Yes, The Donald will leave NYC.....BO won't unless he decides to run for Congress, then he will be forced to return to Illinois for at least four years.

Speaking of the Oval Office....have you heard about how the renovations that have been ordered won't be completed for another year? Makes you wonder WHO is was that figured she would win the election and started ordering the renovations to be done on the taxpayer dime during BO's administration and not HERS......

It's a tradition that the new president puts up a painting of his most respected and loved past president.....wonder who hilLIARy would have picked (I suspect it would have been the father of massively destructive progressivism Woodrow Wilson) compared to Trump's pick? If memory serves me correctly GWB had 41 on the wall.
