The subtitles are not as featuresome as what you get on a PC. So what can be done since the player in most if not all TVs, BD players can't be changed?
1. Use another player like a WDTV, Apple TV, etc.
2. Hardsub the content.
I have a problem concerning subtitles through USB (flashdrive) via BluRay player to TV.
My problem is not that I can't see the subtitle files when I scroll through my movies and series because they all work without any problems when I press play. This is because they are all SRT files with the same name as the video.
The PROBLEM I have, which I haven't been able to find any mentions on the web for this, is that the subtitles are plain, without "codes", like italic, bold, music or color.
What can I do to change that?!
I've tried other subtitle files like ***, but nothing works.
Am I the only one with this problem?? o_O
I have a Samsung LED series TV and BluRay Home Theatre 5.1 system for it.
