bluray hookup to plasma TV

Oct 14, 2008 3:45AM PDT

Video quality from Panasonic BD30 to Pioneer Kuro plasma does not seem to be any better than a standard DVD when playing bluray discs.
I feed the bluray output to my Sony DA3200ES via HDMI and then to the TV again with HDMI. Would I see better resolution if I output the BD30 directly to the TV? If so, what should I use for the audio to the Sony?

Thanks
GAK

run the HDMI stright to the tv. Run the 5.1 analogs out of the BD to the back of the receiver (or get a receiver that can out put 1080p not just excepts 1080p) & set the player to bitstream.

& calibrating the tv helps too Happy

I would do HDMI to the TV and an optical cable to the receiver.
