I don't know this PC's history but accepting drivers from Windows Update often upsets things like this. I'd approach HP with caution as my last HP was my last HP. They had a product defect and walked on the warranty. Long story at http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/laptop-buying-advice/#post-da7ca992-025a-4773-9086-f1d443e405ef
I have trouble connecting to bluetooth speakers. I can tolerate that but my real problem is connecting to my wireless keyboard. For quite a while I could pair and connect the keyboard once, then shut it down, then turn the keyboard on again and in 2 seconds it was working. Now every time I shut the keyboard down, I have to go into settings. click "remove device" then put the keyboard into search mode, find it, and pair it, then have the computer send a numeric code, then type that code into the keyboard, hit "enter" and wait for it to connect, a real pain. It's not the keyboard since I have tested it on tablets I have. I have done the usual of going into device manager and checking all the Bluetooth drivers, I uninstalled the driver for the Intel Wireless Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed Adapter and re installed it. The "roll back" does not light up so I can't do that. The keyboard is a Logitech K380 but I developed the same problem, out of nowhere, on the prior Logitech K810.
