Bluetooth Help - Does the version matter?

I am about to purchase the Samsung t519 (aka the Trace) and I have read and researched a lot about the phone. The only thing I can't figure out, are bluetooth versions. I read about version 1.1, 1.2, and 2.0 as the most recent of the three. I wanted to buy a USB bluetooth dongle for my computer, but some of the dongles only support one or two of the three versions. Can someone tell me what version of bluetooth is in the Samsung t519, or, does the version even matter?
