Bluetooth & camera phones?

Sep 4, 2004 4:24AM PDT

Im really not into all this tech stuff...but I wanted to know if you could upload images from your bluetooth cell phone to your computer, or do you need cables to do that. I might be getting a cell phone as a gift, and my aunt is letting me choose what kind. Can someone help?

It has nothing to do with having Bluetooth, but the transfer capabilities of the phone.

If the phone has capabilities to upload pictures via some interface (vs. the usual ability to just send a picture via the cell phone service provider) then you have to find out if IT can also utilize the Bluetooth interface to do so.

Many times the CD that comes with your cell phone, or the connection devices for your phone, will provide some means to send pictures from the phone to your computer. You then have to find out whether your phone also can utilize the Bluetooth.

Sounds like you have some investigation to do.
Good luck!
