There are prior discussions where we add an Audio BT Transmitter to link up to headphones but we do that for a specific need (headphones.) No one I know would do this for speakers or mouse and keyboard.
For mouse and keyboard we look at something like the Logitech K400.
DO NOT BUY ANY BLUETOOTH DONGLE as these will not work on Smart TVs. Those are for computers such as Apple and Windows/Linux PCs.
I just purchased a 40" 5300 Smart TV and am researching how to add Bluetooth capability.
I found an article that said to add Bluetooth to a non-Bluetooth TV, you can purchase a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the stereo component on the back of the TV and use it to connect a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard. It actually showed a picture of a what looked like a 'Logitech Wireless Speaker Adapter for Bluetooth Audio Devices' that I found on amazon.com.
Will this really work?
