Question

Bluescreen crash problem

Jul 28, 2017 12:41PM PDT

For about 2 years now, my laptop has been constantly crashing with different stop codes every time during all kinds of activities, sometimes even when i left it on the desktop screen with nothing opened. I clean up the junk after each crash and keep everything up to date, and it's just been getting worse. Now it's crashing even on startup. I tried resetting the system three times and each time it crashed without even reaching 50%. I also tried all kinds of system scans, none of them detected any problems. Is there anything i can do besides giving it out for repair?

Clarification Request
Has it reached the point of trying a factory reset?

You can also share a Web Speccy (read how at https://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/using-speccy/publishing-a-speccy-profile-to-the-web ) since I use that to uncover a lot of "what would I do if it was my PC" suggestions. Sometimes I find Waldo.

When you see a collection of BSOD codes it's usually heat or hardware related so let's start with a good old canned air vent cleaning (what this is and how is on the web) then a Web Speccy to see if something is showing.

I do not know how your system is configured, but I experienced similarly frequent crashes after installing a defective SSD into my computer. This could be a system drive problem, whether you have an SSD or an HDD.

It could also be a corrupted device driver, but problems like this are, in most cases, hardware-related.
