many causes of error messages for Nero, but without details of your computer system it is difficult to analyze what the problem may be.
Please see the "tip" above the Posting Message window in these forums, eg;
"If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution."
For now, do you have any other programs running when you try to use Nero? If so, shut them down.
When Scandisk keeps re-starting it is usually because something is interrupting the process.
It may be time to start checking your computer for viruses, spyware or adware. What anti-malware programs do you use? Make sure they are updated and do a full system scan using each one.
I am having such trouble with this thing! I'll start with the most irritating. I've been trying to burn a cd for my daughter all night. Using nero express, I've done this before, it's all music we already have just making a "favorites" for her. Doesn't even start the burn, still "analyzing data" or whatever and BOOM! Blue an error has occured. To return to windows....
file at vmm(01) + 0000C17F (note all 0's have slash)
error: 0E : 0028 : C000D17F (all slashed 0's)
If I restart, it does it right away maybe 2x before windows will even load and I can do the improper shutdown scandisk (which restarts 1 million times because something, I don't know what, keeps restarting it) Should I toss the whole darn thing out the window? Can someone help me?
