That information

Is only useful to show it crashed. No where did you give you (or us) a starting point of where the failure is.

The 3GB RAM however is a clue. I wonder if the memory is user supplied? Try it with the RAM that came with the machine.

sorry the memory is DIMM 3072 MB,
The crash can happen anytime, on internet , yahoo or explorer or just when just on desktop , this is a new PC .

Then it's not your problem.

It's new. Has a warranty so call and keep calling them. In fact why keep it?

Just so you know.

Check event viewer for clues

If you do not know where it is use "help and support". Check the hardware section in particular.

Like Bob said if it's on warranty keep calling. Have you added hardware to this machine if so I'd look there first.

That you are using DIMM RAM is odd on a new PC. That discount might cost you more in the long run then it was worth (Just a hunch).

I had the same to happen to me. I took it back to best Buy...They returned it and now I am waiting for repairs. I have only had it for 4 months.....Be sure to save all date, because they do not. .Now I have bought a new printer....and guess what I cannot connect it with my old laptop...Something to do with Windows 7 Great....
