KathieJK,
The Internet and streaming feature doesn't pass data from the TV to the Blu-Ray player. If you're looking for a Blu-Ry player with Wi-Fi, the BD-C6900 has Wi-Fi built in (and 3D, if you're considering that as well!)
That said, if you already have a Samsung LinkStick to connect the TV to the Internet wirelessly, you can also use the same LinkStick for any of the 2010 Blu-Ray players, but you'd have to remove it from the TV and place it on the Blu-Ray player. Whichever device has the LinkStick will be connected, and the other one will not be.
Does that help?

I'm purchasing a blue ray player for a samsung LED8000. If I have wifi on my TV do I need it for the DVD too or can I go with the less expensive model?
